A 23-year-old man, wanted for his alleged involvement in a dacoity and killing of a 53-year-old woman in southeast Delhi, has been arrested, the police said today.

In July, Sarita was found dead inside her house and valuables worth over Rs 1 crore were stolen.

The family's domestic help Roshan, Sonu Paswan and Shiv Narayan were arrested, but two other accused, Arvind Paswan and Beni Prasad were evading arrest, the police said.

Paswan and Prasad were declared proclaimed offenders by a court in Delhi and a reward of Rs 50,000 was declared on each of them by the Delhi Police, they said.

The Inter-State Cell of the Crime Branch was tasked with gathering information about the accused and their possible hideouts, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Kumar said.

It was found that Paswan was hiding in Baghaiya village in eastern Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district near Nepal border, the officer said.

Paswan was nabbed yesterday while he was going towards the village, the police said.
