Mandal Revenue Inspector caught taking bribe

A female Mandal Revenue Inspector in Telangana's Karimnagar district was today caught accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said.

The Revenue Inspector, whose identity was not disclosed, has been put under arrest. She was posted in Ellanthakunta mandal.

She was trapped by ACB sleuths this evening while taking the bribe amount from a person for showing undue favour in an official work, the anti-graft agency said in a release here.
