Mandloi likely to be Jnanpeeth director

Noted poet and former Director General of Akashvani Leeladhar Mandloi is likely to be appointed as the director of Bharatiya Jnanpeeth.

According to sources, Mandloi is slated to assume charge as Bharatiya Jnanpeeth director from April 1 after the retirement of incumbent Rabindra Kalia.

Mandloi is at present involved in organising Moortidevi Award and World Book Fair.
