Manu Attri-B Sumeeth Reddy in semi-finals of Brasil Open

Indian shuttlers Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy reached the men's doubles semi-finals of the USD 50,000 Brasil Open Grand Prix here today.

The top seeds took just 24 minutes to beat American pair Mathew Fogarty and Bjorn Seguin 21-14, 21-9 in their first career meet to enter the last-four stage.

The tournament is being held at Riocentro as a test event. The venue will also host the 2016 Olympics badminton event.
