Maoist leader held

A Maoist leader wanted in

several cases of murder was arrested today from Gadopur in Arwal district.

Acting on a tip off, police raided the village and arrested 'Sub-Zonal Commander' K B Lal alias Kaviji, Superintendent of Police Shafiul Haque said.

Lal was wanted in connection with one dozen murder cases and several incidents of violence in the district, he said.
