A 25-year-old man, in Repanpalli village, was today killed by the Maoists who slit his throat and burnt his motorcycle before fleeing into the forest, police said.
Maoists killed one Naresh Yerawar, a resident of Repanpalli village in Aheri taluka in Kolselgudam area this morning by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon, police said in a release.
The Maoists also burnt his motorbike and fled into the forest.

A case has been registered at the Repanpalli police station under various sections of the Indian Penal Code even as further investigations are on.
Incidentally, this is the second such murder in the district by the Maoists in last two days.
Yesterday, a farmer from Ghodezari village in Dhanora taluka was murdered by the insurgents.
Five days ago, the Maoists had murdered a man from Kondawahi village.
Meanwhile, anti-Maoist operations have been intensified in the area after the incident.
