Maoists put up posters in Bihar village

The Maoists have put up posters in a village in Bihar's Jamui district warning the local people with dire consequences for working against the interests of the proscribed outfit, a police official said today.

The Maoists have put up posters at public places in Saraiya village in which they have said that a 'Jan Adalat' will be held in the village soon where those people working against the interests of the outfit and extorting funds in its name will be identified and brought to justice, he said.

The terrified villagers saw the posters this morning and informed the police following which the CRPF men seized those posters.
 

He said that the villagers have been assured adequate protection against the Maoists.
