Refined palmolein recovered marginally in an otherwise sluggish Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on mild retail offtake.
In the non-edible segment linseedoil declined due to subdued demand from paint and allied industries.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial traded stable in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the edible section, refined palmolein inched up by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 593 from Monday's close of Rs 592. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, linseedoil eased by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 760 as against Rs 765 previously.
However, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial ended unaltered at Rs 3,975 per 100 kg and Rs 825 per 10 kg respectively.
