Singer Mariah Carey is reportedly depressed after parting ways with her billionaire fiance James Packer.
The 46-year-old singer, who is trying to put up a brave front in public by stepping out for dinners with her friends, is said to have broken by her split, reported People magazine.
"First the split didn't seem to faze Mariah. It was like she expected things to be fine soon. Now she realizes that things aren't fine and not being with James makes her depressed," a source said.
According to the source, the "Without You" hitmaker does not want to sit at home and dwell on it.
"She is very hurt that he dumped her. She knows she will never be able to find someone like him," the source added.
The pair was first reported to be dating in June 2015, and Packer, 49, proposed to Carey in January with a diamond ring.
