FMCG firm Marico today said its Group CFO Milind Sarwate has resigned from the post.
His last day with the company is March 31, the company said in a statement.
Sarwate was with Marico for the last 16 years and had joined the company in 1998 as the CFO.

He drove Marico's inorganic growth agenda through acquisitions and alliances, in India and overseas, the company said.
Commenting on the development Marico CMD Harsh Mariwala said: "I take this opportunity to acknowledge Milind's role in Marico's transformation from an Indian Company, now poised to become an emerging markets MNC."
The statement also quoted Sarwate saying that he is planning to take a new role, which would be announced soon.
"After 16 long years, I sense the need to rejuvenate myself through new challenges in a new setting, to build further on my experience. I have, therefore, planned to take up a new role. I will announce details in the new Financial Year," the statement said quoting Sarwate.
