Mark Wahlberg sells Beverly Hills mansion

"The Departed" star Mark Wahlberg has sold his Mediterranean-style Beverly Hills villa for USD 13 million.

The lavish house boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a private swimming pool, screening room, a guest house, a basketball court and a recording studio, reported Daily Mirror.

Mark, 42, had purchased the house for USD 5 million in 2001. He also got it thoroughly renovated.

The actor has been building an even more extravagant 33,000-square-foot dream home in Beverly Park.

Wahlberg along with his wife Rhea Durham and their four children, Ella, Michael, Brendan, and Grace might move in to the new place.
