Marketing inspector suspended for negligence of duty

A senior marketing inspector of food department, Pradeep Kumar, has been placed under suspension for negligence of duty in Shamli district here.

He was found drinking inside his office and wine bottles have been recovered from his office, District Magistrate N P Singh said today.

He has been put under suspension with immediate effect by the orders of the food commissioner.
