A married woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour repeatedly for about a year in Ballabhgarh area here, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the victim, about a year ago her neighbour, Satpal, came to her house when she was alone and raped her, SHO Asha Rani said.
He also threatened to kill her husband and three children if she told anybody about the incident and the accused later raped her repeatedly, the SHO said.
On September 1, she was again called by Satpal near the cremation ground where he raped her, Rani said.
The victim then filed a complaint with Women Police Station Sector-16 A under IPC sections 376 (rape), 452 (house-trespass) and 506 (criminal intimidation), the SHO said, adding, investigations are underway in the case.
