A married woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in Sangia area here, police said today.
28-year-old Soni was found dead in her room, which was opened this morning by her in-laws, who informed the police about the incident, they said.
The woman died due to burn injuries. According to her in-laws, she committed suicide last night by setting herself ablaze after sprinkling kerosene oil, they said.
The matter is being probed, police said, adding that the victim's husband and in-laws have been detained.
