A married woman was allegedly raped by a youth when she was alone at her home at a village in Gobardhanpur police station area of the district, police said today.
The incident took place at Mehrauli village yesterday evening. The accused, identified as Bantu, allegedly barged into the woman's house and raped her.
Following a complaint filed by the woman's relatives, police have arrested the accused.
A police officer said a medical examination had been conducted on the woman.
