A 20-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by a man in Nandgaon village here, police said today.
The incident occurred when the woman was alone in her house here on Saturday night as her husband had gone out for some work, Sanjay Royal, SHO at Dablana police station said.
The accused, Dhanu Meena (25) barged in to the house and allegedly raped her, he said.
The woman informed her husband about the incident after he returned and they approached the police to file an FIR against the accused yesterday, the SHO said.
Police have registered a case under section 376 (rape) of the IPC against Meena and efforts are on to nab him, Royal said.
