Married woman raped in Sambhal

A 25-year-old married woman was allegedly raped in her house in Rajpura area of the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when she was alone in her house and Satpal and Ram Khiladi forcibly entered her house, they said.

While Satpal raped her, Ramkhiladi threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the matter to the police.

An FIR has been registered in the matter and police was trying to arrest the accused, said an official.
