Country's leading car maker Maruti Suzuki today launched its premium hatchback Baleno in Kerala.
Unveiling the vehicle, Vinay Pant, General Manager, Marketing, Maruti Suzuki, said, "Baleno is a real global model and the most striking point of the car is its design."
He said the dynamic, energetic and premium Baleno is packed with features, many of them being offered for the first time in the premium hatchback segment.
Maruti officials claimed that Baleno had won praise from experts for its superior ride and handling, safety, fuel efficiency and low vehicle noise and harshness.
They said the vehicle built on a brand new Suzuki platform which is lighter (by 100 kg), stronger (by 10 per cent) and more rigid compared to existing platforms in the industry would be able to hit Kerala's vibrant car market.
Baleno will be sold through NEXA, the new chain of premium exclusive retail outlets recently launched by the company.
