Mauritius Prez to be chief guest at LPU's 4th convocation

Mauritius President Kailash Purryag will be the Chief Guest for the 4th Convocation ceremony of Lovely Professional University (LPU) to be held here on April 20 and 21.

"We are happy to inform that this time too President of a country has consented to be our honourable guest at the convocation ceremony. Our students are indeed lucky to be blessed by President of Mauritius Kailash Purryag," LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal said.

He said that during LPU's 3rd convocation in 2013, President Pranab Mukherjee and his Afgani counterpart Hamid Karzai shared the dais at the University.
