May Day rally in Kashmir

The march was led by the state secretary of CPI(M) M Y Tarigami who later addressed the rally.

Tarigami asked governments to fulfil the promises it has made over the years to the working class and demanded workers be provided job security and proper wages.

"Today our slogan is honourable living," Tarigami said.

The rally was held to commemorate Labour Day or May Day as it is called and was attended by several small associations of farmers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and other sectors. PTI AZH MIJ KUN
