Medical officer, another person held for accepting bribe

A medical officer working at the Nashik civil hospital here and another person were today arrested for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 4,000, ACB officials said.

The accused Parshuram Bhoye demanded a bribe from the complainant through one private person - Vijay Gawande for re-issuing a medical certificate for injury to his ear, a release issued by Nashik division of ACB said.

Following a complaint, a trap was laid this evening and the duo were held while accepting the bribe, it said.
