Medium sugar declines at Muhurat trading

Medium sugar declined in special Muhurat trading today in an otherwise listless at Vashi wholesale market here today due to reduced demand from stockists and retailers to mark the start of Samvat 2074.

While, small sugar held steady in the absence of any major buying activities.

Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 17 per quintal to Rs 3,756/3,925 from Wednesday's level of Rs 3,756/3,942.

Small sugar (S-30) ended unchanged at Rs 3,676/3,760 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,676/3,760 (Rs 3,676/3,760).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,756/3,925 (Rs 3,756/3,942).
