Meng upsets Bava in ITF Futures

Cing-Yang Meng of Taipei got past fourth-seed Haadin Bava of India 6-3, 6-2 win in a singles first round match of the LMW ITF Men's Futures tennis tournament 2017 being held in Coimbatore.

In another upset, Indian player Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash defeated sixth-seed Lucas Gomez of Mexico 7-6(3), 6-4.
