Mentally ill man electrocuted to death

A 42-year-old mentally challenged man died today after being electrocuted in Reasi district here, police said.

"Mohammad Bashir came in contact with a live wire near a transformer at Sujanpur in Reasi district yesterday night," a police officer said.

Bashir was mentally ill, he said.

He was admitted with severe burn injuries in a hospital, where he died this morning, the officer added.
