Menthol recovers on increased offtake

Menthol prices recovered by Rs 5 per kg at the local chemical market in the national capital today following increased offtake by consuming units.

Traders said pick up in demand from consuming industries mainly attributed the recovery in menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices went up by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,745, Rs 1,595 and Rs 1,395 per kg, respectively.
