Menthol prices rose further by Rs 5 per kg at the local chemical market today on increased demand from consuming industries.
However, other chemicals moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries mainly kept menthol prices remain higher.

In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and oil were added another Rs 5 each to Rs 890, Rs 840 and Rs 800 per kg respectively.
