Meraj Khan appointed Samajwadi Party Jharkhand unit chief

Meraj Khan was appointed as Samajwadi Party's Jharkhand unit chief by party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today.

"Khan, a resident of Dhanband has been made state president of Jharkhand by party national president Mulayam Singh Yadav," a party release issued here said.

The party has directed him to constitute his executive body in the next 15 days and work to strengthen the party in the state, the release said.
