Drug firm Merck today posted 28.83 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 12.51 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.58 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 245.86 crore for the September quarter, as against Rs 214.29 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal, Merck Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Shares of the company today ended at Rs 774.25 apiece on the BSE, down 1.02 per cent.
