Mercury reaches 36.6 deg C, Delhi continues to remain dry

A spell of hot and dry weather continued in the national capital today as the maximum temperature settled at 36.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, MeT department officials said.

The humidity in air oscillated between 71 and 37 per cent, the MeT department said.

The weather department has also predicted a clear sky for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 37 and 27 degrees Celsius," said the weatherman.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled at 37.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 26.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal.
