Mercury today settled a notch above normal at 36 degrees Celsius in the city while the weatherman has predicted light rains for tomorrow evening.
"The maximum temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal for this time of the year while the minimum settled at 25 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal," a MeT official said.
Humidity levels oscillated between 79 and 42 per cent.
Weatherman has predicted a clear morning tomorrow with possibility of light rains lashing few areas towards the evening.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius.
