Metro rail service disrupted

Metro railway services were today disrupted for a brief period in southern parts of the city.

"Metro service was disrupted for 12 minutes after a non-AC rake was detained for some technical glitch at Jatin Das Park Station," a Metro Railway spokesperson said.

Train service became normalised from 1.50 pm, he said.

Being a holiday afternoon, the impact on passenger harassment was minimal.
