Metro station at Hindon river proposed

The Ghaziabad Development Authority has sent a proposal for a new metro station at Hindan river to facilitate commuters from Raj Nagar Extension, a big cluster of high-rise apartment complexes.

Tejendra Pal Tyagi, the convener of Confederation of NCR Residents' Welfare Association (CONRWA), said a delegation today met Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) MD Mangu Singh at the Metro Bhawan in New Delhi and made several suggestions in this regard.

Tyagi said the DMRC MD had consented to introduce the 'River Hindan' metro station.
