Metro to be extended till Ballabgarh: Hooda

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that the Rs 2,500 crore metro line to Faridabad will be extended till Ballabgarh.

Addressing a public rally in Faridabad, Hooda also announced a grant of Rs 50 crore for Faridabad Municipal Corporation to construct roads.

He said that basic facilities will also be provided in the 66 colonies of Faridabad. The chief minister also announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh each for two Gaushalas of Faridabad city.

Hooda also inaugurated Mental Health Care Centre, Professional Training Centre and School for Mentally Retarded in Faridabad.

He also laid foundation of three six-lane single span bridges costing over Rs 20 crore constructed by Haryana Irrigation Department at Faridabad, an official release said.
 

The first bridge costing over Rs 6.11 crore would connect Sectors 19-28 and 18-19 with new Sectors 87-90 of Faridabad, the second bridge costing over Rs 6.46 crore would connect Sectors 17-18 to 86-87 of Faridabad and the third bridge costing over Rs 7.45 crore would connect sectors 14-17 to new Sectors 81-86, Faridabad.
