Mettur Dam level 53.06 feet

Water level in the Mettur Dam today stood at 53.06 feet as against the maximum of 120 feet.

Inflow into the reservoir was 19,829 cusecs while the outfolow 800 cusecs, PWD officials said.

The storage was 19.793 tmc against the capacity of 93.4 tmc.

The officials said Karnataka was releasing around 27,000 cusecs totally into Cauvery from Kabini and Krishnaraja Sagar dams following copious inflows.
