Miles Teller rescues pregnant woman From riptide

Actor Miles Teller pulled pulled a pregnant woman and her young child to safety after they got caught in a riptide while playing in the water on Miami beach.

The 28-year-old "Whiplash" actor, who was soaking up the sun with his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry at the time, spotted the distressed pair struggling to battle against the tide as he swam and dashed through the water to save them, reported E! Online.

Teller chatted to the duo for a few minutes after helping the mother and son on to the shore.
