Miley Cyrus adopts dog

Miley Cyrus has added another adopted dog named Barbie to her growing pet family.

The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker, who has taken in a number of furry friends over the past four years including a pet pig, added a little beagle.

Taking to her Instagram account over the weekend, the 23-year-old singer uploaded a photograph of the new addition alongside the caption, "Happy to introduce the newest member of my family Barbie @beaglefreedom #stopanimaltesting #donttestonbeagles (sic)"

The blonde beauty, who is an avid animal rights activist, also has Pitbulls Milky and Mary-Jane, Rottweiler and Beagle cross Happy, Sheepdog Emu, a Chihuahua cross called Bean and mongrel Penny Lane, as well as three cats.
