Two young adults, who allegedly stole pop star Miley Cyrus' sports car and jewellery, have been charged with burglary and grand theft.

The 21-year-old 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, who is currently on tour in Europe, fell victim to burglars last month when thieves gained access to her California mansion and stole her brand new Maserati car and a haul of jewellery, reported TMZ online.

Now, local law enforcement sources say that two suspects, Tylor Scott and Naomi Charles, who were arrested last week, have both been charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft.

In addition, Scott received an additional charge of grand theft firearm as he was allegedly armed with a handgun during the raid.

All of Cyrus' stolen jewellery, purses and clothes have since been recovered.
