Militant hideout busted in J-K

A 'cave-type' militant hideout was unearthed by a joint search party of police and 47 Rashtriya Rifles in the forest area of Sangri-Magam in Handwara belt, 80 kms from here, leading to recovery of arms and explosives, a police spokesman said.

He said the seizure included an AK-56 rifle, three magazines with 20 rounds, five mortar shells and three Chinese grenades.

However, no one was arrested during the operation, the spokesman added.
