Militant hideout smashed, arms recovered

Security forces today busted a militant hideout in forest area in Kashmir's Kupwara district and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

Army and police launched a search operation in Sangri forests in Handwara area following information about presence of an ultra hideout there, a police official said.

The recoveries included an AK rifle, two AK magazines, a pistol, a radio set, two UBGL grenades and two hand grenades, the official said.
