Mill supervisor shot dead

A suprevisor of a sugar mill was shot dead by unidentified persons in Adampur area of Amroha district, a police spokesman said here today.

Adesh (30), who was supervisor at Chandanpur Sugar Mill, was shot dead while he was returning home in Rahra village late last night, he said.

Police said an FIR had been lodged and efforts were being made to arrest the culprits.
