Mini "marathon" held for TN jail inmates

A mini "marathon" was held today for the inmates of the Central Prison here, police said.

The run was organised within the sprawling prison complex and it was intended to create an awareness among prisoners on the need to maintain good health, they said.

The mini "marathon," was flagged off by District Police Superintendent in which several jail officials and policemen also participated.

Cuddalore Central Prison is one of the oldest and largest jails in Tamil Nadu.
