Minigun unit busted, owner held

Acting on a tip off, the police raided a make-shift structure located in the graveyard premises and busted the minigun unit, Station House Officer (SHO), Mufassil p.S, Bhai Bharat said.

One Mehmood, the owner of the clandestine minigun unit, was arrested and two country-made pistols, two magazines, six unfinished pistols and a large quantity of equipment and materials used for assembling weapons were seized, he said.

The accused was jailed in the past on similar charge, but now out on bail.
