With cold conditions abating from the plains, the minimum temperatures today hovered around normal in most parts of Punjab and Haryana.
The minimum temperature at Amritsar increased by over two notches since yesterday to settle at 10 deg C, the MeT said.
Ludhiana and Patiala recorded identical lows of 11 deg C each.
In Haryana, Hisar's low settled at 9.6 deg C, while Ambala registered a minimum temperature of 12 deg C, up one notch. Bhiwani recorded a low of 11 deg C.
Chandigarh's minimum settled a degree above normal at 12 deg C.
