Minister reviews flyover, road projects

Tamil Nadu Highways Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy today reviewed various ongoing flyover projects in and around the city.

The government had sanctioned Rs.162 crore flyover project to ease traffic congestion in Gandhipuram, the heart of the city, and the works were progressing on a warfooting, he said after inspecting the sites.

Accompanied by Municipal Administration Miniser S P Velumani and local officials, he also inspected Rs 20 crore additional double road at Textool and asked the Highway department to expedite it.
