Minister visits injured NCC cadet

: Education minister P K Abdurabb today visited NCC cadet M Anus,who has been hospitalised after suffering a bullet injury during firing practice at Nirmalagiri college at Koothuparambu in Kannur district on September 10.

Speaking to reporters, the minister promised all government assistance for the cadet's treatment. He would be shifted to the military hospital at Bangalore on September 15, he said.

The incident occurred when M Anus, a B.Com first year degree student, was picking up a paper target on the range. Another cadet accidentally fired his gun, hitting him on the shoulder.

He was hospitalised immediately in a hospital at Thalassery and later moved to Kozhikode.
