An 11-year-old Dalit boy died after he was allegedly set on fire by three persons over an old dispute in Kotwali area here, police said today.
The boy was set on fire by the accused in Badi Haraiyya village when he had gone to attend nature's call late last night, a police spokesman said.
A case has been lodged by the victim's grandfather and efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused, the spokesman said.
He said that preliminary investigation revealed that the victim's father had some dispute and scuffle with the accused a week back.
