Minor boys drown in Saryu river in UP

Two minor boys drowned in the Saryu river in Bageshwar district while playing near its bank.

The incident occurred yesterday when Ashish (11) and Rahul (12), both residents of Bahraula village, were playing along the bank of the river in Kathayatbada area of the district, State Emergency Operation Centre said.

Ashish's body was recovered today at around 6 AM while search is on by SDRF personnel to trace Rahul, it said.
