Minor dies after falling into a drain

A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died after falling in a drain while playing near her house in northeast Delhi, police said today.

On Sunday, she went missing when she was playing with children from her locality in Gokulpuri, they added.

The children later informed her parents who looked for her but in vain.

They subsequently informed the police and a case was registered, the police said.

Next day the body of the girl was found floating in the drain, police said.

Police ruled out any foul play in the girl's death.
