Minor fire at Rail Bhawan

A minor fire broke out due to short -circuit at Rail Bhawan this evening, but it was doused within minutes, officials said.

A call was received around 9 PM about a fire in the panel board at Gate number 4 of Rail Bhawan, said a senior Delhi Fire Service officer.

Five firetenders were rushed to the spot but it was a minor fire and did not require our intervention, he said.

The fire was caused due to short-circuit and an electrician was called to tackle it, he added.
