Minor found dead from orchard

A minor girl was found dead in an orchard today by locals in Prayagdaspur village of the district, police said.

Body of the girl was recovered by villagers from the orchard today morning, who later informed the police, they said.

Prima facie it appears that the girl (approx 8) was raped and then killed, Superintendent of Police, Anil Kumar Rai said, adding, a probing into the matter is on.
